Make sure to watch this one all the way to the end- a guaranteed laugh!

steph

My hair is typically stick straight, and although many may think “Oh you’re so lucky,” it just sits there and does nothing! So, I finally came up with a solution…I would take loads of bobby pins (and I mean 10-15 at a time), and give myself a little bump on the top of my head. This gave my face “action” right away. Problem with this? Too many bobby pins poking into my already tired hair. So, the idea behind the Divado is fantastic. Gives you the bump with 1 quick insert and then you can leave it down or throw it up and add some spunk to your hair do. I do like that I can use this when going to work or to a wedding, so thats fabulous.

PROS:

No gel or bobby pins required

Gives you some umph to your hair

Only takes a few minutes to insert

Buy directly at: Divado Hair or check the site for the store location nearest you.

love it!

yana

I can see how it can work for some, but for me it’s to heavy and not stable enough to stay put in my hair.

CONS:

To heavy

Not stable enough to last the whole day

It’s pricey $25 to $30

love it!

That’s my opinion, and I’m sticking to it.

  1. Not the kind of thing I would use, but you’ve described it well here. I think that this would help a lot of people to decide if it’s for them or not.

  2. Janie Emaus says:

I agree with Yana! I need it more for my boobs.

  3. Habyia says:

Haven’t seen this on the market, clever idea.

  4. donna says:

The small one looked effective. The big one is questionable, but I don’t require either one.

  5. Esther Bloom says:

Yana you are funny, poor Steph. I think I love it it looks better than those other things.

  6. Rose says:

I need to get one of those

  7. Annie says:

I’m not into high hair. It’s not for me.

  8. Doreen says:

I have “bumpits” which produce the same height effect. I think I would rather use this product as it looks to be more comfortable to wear.

  9. feathermaye says:

I think it’s a great idea, as I’ve always wondered how women get that look.

However, I’d be concerned about the heat it would generate on the top of my head. Since I’m already dealing with hot flashes, I don’t need anything else to encourage the sweats!

I’d probably try someone else’s before shelling out my own cash.

  10. bluebird says:

Before she really got into the explaination I thought she was trying to promote new cups for bras :) I was all for it! I would never have thought it was for your hair. One thing I will say is that It looks like it would not be as painful as some of the other products on the market. The teeth are sometimes too long and poke you in the scalp.

  11. lita says:

My 13year old daughter would love this!!!! Me, I don’t think so.

  12. Cinnibar says:

Definitely, looks like it will hold better than the “Bumpits” which are advertised on cable and sold at CVS, etc. at a price point of $10. At least there is a comb insert with the “Divado” Bumpits on the other hand are supposed to sit on your head and comes packaged with a selection of small, medium, or large. The problem is not even the small one will stay put in your hair; it fell out immediately.

  13. Judy Reed says:

When Steph took that out of Daisy’s hair my first thought was it looked like something to be worn in a bra or in place of a bra! LOL

TEASE! It’s free and it works!

  14. Jen says:

I think it is pronounced Diva-Do.

  15. Petula says:

I have seen this on TV and I can see how someone who normally wears this style would benefit from the look. But it’s just not for me. I guess if I needed it I would try the small one, but I’d be so self conscious about the larger one thinking it would fall out and folks would think my bra insert had slipped.

  16. della Kemp says:

I haven’t seen this product before. I would definitely try it. Definitely love the “bump” look.
http://www.bettyandjayne.com gives this product a thumbs up.

  17. jana says:

I think my nieces, ages 17 -25, might use something like this, but I have to tell the truth. I lost DD’s from breast cancer 4 months ago, and all I think about is simple solutions for foobs – aka fake boobs. The second I saw it I started imaging stuffing it in my sports bra.. No kidding. And there was something about a pearl and a hot glue gun. I may have to try it..
