I do not have oily hair. However, the biggest problem I face with
Shampoos and Conditioners is that after I dry my hair it looks like
it’s still wet. Thats right -- it looks that oily.
Another problem that drives me nuts is that I pay big bucks to get my
hair done and sometimes colored, and the color washes out in a few
weeks. This really bugs me. When I found out that this is caused from
sulfates in Shampoos I had to find a product without this sulfate
component. That’s when I found Pureology.
Here’s what happened -- and I can assure you I tested this out on
camera…Yes, this is me coming out of the shower. I washed, I blow-
dried, and there was no oily hair!! Weeks later I noticed my color was
perfectly in tact. I am one happy camper.

PROS:
- Sulfate Free
- Made my hair soft
- Oil free hair
- Proteins
- Aromatherapy Blend
CONS:
- It’s pricey

If I am going to pay to have my hair died, I am definitely going to
pay a little more to maintain the color. Thumbs up for me! I love it.

Yes, Pureology works well, but at $25 a bottle it is not affordable for me. Trader Joe’s sells a sulphate-free shampoo for $2 a bottle and I find that it works fine.
I have used Pureology and it is amazing and expensive… I have tried L’Oreal HAIR EXPERTISE EVER PURE and it is a much cheaper alternative …Get it at Walgreens for $7… no sulfates and is an awesome product that works!!! With the money I save can get a pedicure!
super cool, thanks for testing, and at $39 a bottle –it’s totally reasonable when you only have to wash once, not twice! That makes it 15$ a bottle!
My hair’s dry as hay,so might look for their other products. (-: Carole
I’m off to Walgreens to buy the Loreal
THANK You for the tips ladies
It’s not available here. But with curly hair like mine, this won’t be suitable for me anyway.
I use Pureology’s hydrating product and love it! It is pricey but worth it. A little bit goes a long way.
I may try this but right now I’m using Joico products for Color Treated hair. So far, so good!
I love pureology but I usually stick with another sulfate free line…phyto….my fav!
You have gorgeous hair!!!
Yet another interesting read, keep em coming!
