Some people are blessed with lustrous lashes, and some have to rely on a good mascara to do the trick.

With so many brands on the market, it’s becoming more and more difficult to make up your mind.

Thanks for this one on mascara. I am going to try the Clinique. I do love my Loreal as well.
    Thanks again ladies!!

I’m curious if you’ve tested any of the AVON or Mary Kay mascaras. I am an AVON rep and have fallen in love with a few of our mascaras, used under different circumstances. We even have a lash enriching formula now to build better natural lashes when the mascara has been removed.

  3. I have had the opportunity to try both high-end mascaras and those that can be purchased at the local drugstore. I have not been impressed with any of the high priced mascaras I have tried in the past. Although it took me a while to find a lower priced mascara that performed to my expectations, I am glad to say that I have found it in Maybelline’s original Lash Stiletto.

  4. Sena says:

Thanks for the heads up, I will check out Kiehl’s for sure

  5. Jeffrie Ann says:

I have tried some of these but honestly, I didn’t care for them. I always end up going back to my old standby, Lancome, that I have been using since Lancome was first introduced to the USA. Long time!
I use the “Hypnose”. I don’t mind the price so much as it gives me better results than any of the less expensive brands, and it lasts me a long time because I don’t wear makeup everyday.

  6. Soleil says:

Agree with you on Clinique. Still love Cover Girl basic mascara. Not so keen on the new blast product, which is why I went to Clinique. Still for price and results, Cover Girl basic can’t be beat.

  7. Vikki says:

I loved this review. I love lancome definicils but also love maybelline stilleto.
Because I’m a contact lens wearer I’m always cautious to change because of irritation.

  8. Kathy says:

Isn’t mascara the coolest beauty product ever? I love it. I always use Mary Kays’ Ultimate Mascara in black. $15.00 available from any MK consultant.
Mascara doesn’t have any preservatives in it, so it does need to be discarded after about 3-4 months whether you have used it up or not. If your msacara is clumping and globby or taking longer to dry, it’s time to toss it and replace it. And if you twirl the wand inside the tube instead of pumping it, it stays nicer. The twirling action coats the wand, but the pumping action introduces more air to the tube which dries it out and can cause bacterial growth.

Sorry, just went into MK consultant mode on all of you…

  11. Deena says:

I loved the video. I use Maybelline and didn’t see it here. Mine is under 10.00 and now that we Ulta here I get all my make up from them. I am always buying something new when I go in there. But, that video was just great. Can’t wait to see what else you have for us all.

  12. Kim Woodson says:

very informative! It is so true…with the expensive brands, you are really just paying for a name and who wants to do that??
    thank you!

  13. Mrs D says:

Love the review -I can’t use Maybellline as it “sheds and leaves my eyes watering” so I now use L’Oreal and I also love Clarins but I’ll look at Lancome

  14. Cathie Beck says:

The mascara I’m able do use is Physicians Formula Mineral mascara. It doesn’t contain the chemicals most mascaras are made with.

  15. Kel says:

I would have liked to have “Water-Proof” or “Water-Resistent” or “Neither” in your reviews, always important to me and based on experience, probably a lot of other women as well. Thanks for your time! -Kel
