Not Your Daughters Jeans has claimed the niche market of women who have generally opted for high-waist cuts, that while certainly are unflattering, are the lesser of the two evils when option number two is the dreaded muffin-top from low-cut jeans.  But for women who accept neither option, NYDJ is the perfect alternative.

The brand prides itself on making fashionable clothing (that’s right, not just jeans) for women who can’t afford to spend enough time in the gym for it to be considered part-time work, and for women who have children and have found their bodies just don’t go back into quite their pre-baby shape.

Not Your Daughters Jeans prides itself on providing low-rise jeans that eliminate saggy legs and unflattering rears for women who still want some snugness in the right areas without running the risk of muffin-ing over their belt loops.  The lycra/cotton blend promises to give just enough fit without too much squeeze that will definitely take the “mom” out of jeans of mothers cross-country.

While on the pricier side (average $80-$100) and sold at higher end department stores, these jeans keep their shape remarkably well and are undoubtedly worth the extra cost since you won’t replace a pair for years.  If the price is still to steep, with some careful hunting of bargain stores like Marshall’s and Loehmann’s, you should be able to get a pair at a discount and enjoy all glorious perks of the cost.
