Sonic Spinbrush & Arm & Hammer Complete Care Fluoride Extra Whitening Toothpaste

Having the perfect pearly white smile is something we all long for. While some of us have it, others don’t. The endless products on the market all seem like the perfect choice, but how do we know which one is best to get the perfect teeth?
Stop questioning yourself, because Dr. Roger Gershfeld, Hollywood’s dentist is here to help us figure it out:

1. Brush your teeth on a regular basis.

Using a Spin-brush such as the Sonic Spinbrush is a good way to get the brushing you need. While whitening toothpastes may be abrasive at times, they are good for removing stains. Everyone may have their preference of toothpaste, and although some brands are pricier than others, I have always been happy with regular toothpaste. In order to get that extra shine, I switch it up and use Arm & Hammer Complete Care Fluoride Extra Whitening Toothpaste.

2. Teeth whitening Home Kits

For short term whitening, this is the way to go. Take-home whitening kits do not tend to have enough active ingredient to change the body color of the teeth permanently, but they do work temporarily to hide stains. Try something along the lines of Crest Whitestrips to whiten your teeth.

3. Use Dental Floss

Flossing is just as, if not more important as brushing- and a lot of people tend to forget that! While most of the decay we see on an individual’s tooth is assumed to be on the top—it’s not! Most decay occurs in between teeth where the toothbrush cannot get in. Any Floss is great, as long as you remember to use it!

4. Dental Teeth Whitening Treatments

Whitening treatments can be done from the convenience of your own home by using whitening trays or through your dental office where they use light systems. Pricing of treatments range but typically start around $500 and are available at many cosmetic dental surgery clinics.

Final Tips

The healthiest and most natural way to clean teeth is to eat fruits and vegetables. Be cautious of citrusy foods, such as grapefruit and be sure to buffer acids with foods such as milk and cheese. Be cautious of dark drinks such as wine and soda which may darken your teeth color.

love it!
